South Korea The recovery plan is promoted by two new agreements: the new Digital Deal and the Green New Deal. The Green New Deal consists of transforming basic services through green infrastructure C Level Executive List establishing an innovative green industry ecosystem and expanding low-carbon and distributed energy. The digital agreement consists of guaranteeing inclusive access to information and communication technologies, strengthening the security network, fully establishing industries that do not require face-to-face work ( non-face-to-face industries ), and digitizing other relevant sectors. In the energy sector, the goal is to reduce dependence on coal and reach 20% renewables in a decade and 35% in two decades.



This includes increased support for renewable energy, distributed energy, and boosting the development of hydrogen vehicles, the construction of new hydrogen production facilities, the use of green vehicles and the reduction of emissions. To carry out this, investment will be made in different areas of industry, energy, environment, and other relevant sectors. Along with this, it is planned to implement policies that encourage the inclusion of new technologies that help reduce emissions. The Green New Deal will commit public financing by 2022, with the goal of creating around 133,000 jobs.
