The latest technology used by footballers: the iNuba scanner

The Valencian startup iNuba, which recently commented to this medium about its projects , has presented its iNubaBox 3D body scanner at the largest technology fair in the world.

It is the first time that the Valencian firm has exhibited this cutting-edge technology internationally. According to its creators, it is the most advanced on the market.

The feedback has been very positive, including it among the most interesting devices in the international television report Deutsche Welle.  “We have noticed a genuine interest in our technology. Being at this event has been the best possible letter of introduction for the iNubaBox and the starting signal for its distribution and marketing ," explain the company's co-founders Pablo Calatayud  and  Pablo Honrubia.

In fact, its presentation at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in Las Vegas (United States) has been sponsored by the new FC Barcelona player , Ferran Torres .



What is this scanner?
iNubaBox is an autonomous measurement booth that allows the user to obtain health metrics and a 3D avatar, generating an accurate reconstruction of the body. In this 3D body scanner, three self-developed systems are used. A three-dimensional capture system, an autonomous thermography system and an electrical bioimpedance system. This translates into a digitization of the body; and over 360 body metrics that correlate to scientific health data. This allows you to monitor the evolution of each person, as well as prevent injuries or help during their treatment.

The iNubaBox is interconnected with the iNuba App, where all the information collected in the scanner is uploaded. In this app you can check your body and health metrics and hire premium services for both individualized nutrition and tailored training, to achieve your set goals.

However, CES has been just the beginning of a tour that continues throughout this first quarter. iNuba will bring its iNubaBox to other technology fairs in the coming months. “We return with charged batteries, new contacts, many ideas and a great desire to continue developing the best technology to improve, control and detect your state of health.”

Let us remember that it has just closed an investment round of 1.35 million euros in which investors from the industrial, logistics, distribution and technology sectors have participated. In total, since it was born in the midst of the coronavirus outbreak, February 2020, it has raised 1.65 million euros.
