What is the radar position transmitter frequency range? When shopping for radar level gauges, users often encounter a variety of specifications and models. The most common are different measurement frequencies.  why are the frequencies so different? What are the advantages and disadvantages of different frequency products? Through the introduction of this article, I hope you can choose a radar level gauge product suitable for the working conditions when purchasing a measurement radar level gauge. RFQ Level meters Radar position transmitter frequency range Table of Contents Classification Of Radar Position Transmitter Frequency Range A radar level transmitter is a device based on electromagnetic wave emission and reflection reception to determine the size of a measurement object.

According to the type of transmitted signal, it is divided into two types: pulse radar and frequency modulation continuous wave radar. Pulse radar is measured based on time domain reflectometry (TDR). That is, the radar antenna Email Data  emits high-frequency pulsed electromagnetic waves that travel at the speed of light. When encountering the surface of the measured medium, a portion of the pulse is reflected back as an echo to the radar level transmitter pulse emitting device. The distance between the emitting device and the surface of the measured medium is proportional to the propagation time of the pulse. The height is obtained by calculating the liquid level . Frequency Modulation Continuous Wave Radar Frequency Modulation Continuous Wave (FMCW) is based on frequency difference. That is, the radar uses synchronous frequency modulation technology. The transmitter and receiver are installed above. The transmitter emits a microwave signal whose frequency is modulated linearly across the liquid surface.

When the microwave signal propagates down the liquid surface and reflects back to the receiver. Due to the time delay, the frequency of the transmitted signal changes. The distance traveled by the radar wave is calculated by the frequency difference between the received reflected wave and the transmitted wave. In general, the larger the frequency modulation range, the longer the measurement distance, the better the linearity and the higher ther waves (frequency range 300MHz~3GHz), centimeter waves (frequency range 3~30GHz), millimeter waves (frequency range 30~300GHz) and submillimeter waves (frequency range 300x3Hz). The most common radars on the market are 6GHz, 26GHz and 80GHz that have appeared in the last couple of years.
