The most important annual document on renewable energies indicates that in 2021 the planet has lost a historic opportunity for a green recovery, despite the record increase in renewables The next GENERA fair will host the International Renewable Energy Conference, in which numerous national and international authorities will participate. Mytec The third vice president and minister for the Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge, Teresa Ribera, has presented the 'Report on the Global State of Renewable Energies 2022', the most important document on renewables worldwide, prepared by REN21, which highlights the leadership Spanish in clean energies.
The presentation took place at the 25th edition of the international Jamaica Email List Energy and Environment fair, GENERA 2022, which was inaugurated by the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez. The report examines the progress of the energy transition worldwide each year and in this edition indicates that the world has lost a historic opportunity for a recovery based on clean energy, despite the record increase in renewable energies during 2021. The vice president has accompanied Arthouros Zervos, president of REN21, and Rana Adib, executive director, in the global presentation of the report, during the conference ' The global energy transition: where we are and where we must go' , organized by the Institute for Diversification and Energy Savings (IDAE), an organization dependent on the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO).
Given the scenario raised by the document, the vice president recalled the Government's commitment to the deployment of renewables. “The energy transition is our guideline. It will allow new economic models and innovative forms of organization, transform value chains, redistribute economic power and model new forms of governance focused on people. With adequate technological investments, renewables are the only energy sources that offer all countries in the world the opportunity to enjoy greater autonomy and energy security. The Conference has also served as a presentation framework for the next International Renewable Energy Conference (SPIREC) , which will take place at IFEMA, in Madrid, from February and which will host a multitude of national and international authorities.
