Results of the elections in Madrid 2023 live: who won the 28M elections
We tell you live how the regional and municipal elections are going, the scrutiny, who has won and what the political map looks like in the Community of Madrid today. Result of the 2023 elections in Alcalá de Henares, Arganda del Rey, Móstoles, Humanes, Torrejón de Ardoz, Rivas Vaciamadrid, Móstoles, Leganés and other municipalities of Madrid.
Podemos is once again suffering the electoral bleeding that the political formation has been suffering in the last appointments with the polls, a setback that has been particularly accentuated this Sunday, May 28, with the regional elections, with the loss of almost Phone Number Dataall of its territorial power, being left out of Madrid and the Valencian Community, and in the municipal ones, where Ada Colau has lost the baton of command in Barcelona. Those from Ione Belarra went to the elections with a record of unity candidacies with Izquierda Unida which, however, have not served to increase the number of support among the electorate.
In the first region, the victory of the popular Isabel Díaz Ayuso and the push of Más Madrid has expelled Podemos and IU from the Assembly, losing the ten seats it obtained in 2021 with Pablo Iglesias as candidate, while in the second, where Héctor Illueca was part of the 'Botànic' government together with PSOE and Compromís, he is left out of the Valencian Parliament, without managing to retain the eight deputies from the previous elections. The same has happened in the Madrid City Council, where the PP has swept with an absolute majority, while Roberto Sotomayor is left with zero councilors.

The Ciudadanos candidate for Mayor of Madrid, Begoña Villacís, who has been left out of the capital's City Council, seemed very affected in her speech to the media. "It has been an unmitigated defeat," said she, who has been vice mayor of Madrid for the last four years. "It is the hardest speech of my life," added Villacís, who at times could not hold back her tears.
The networks remind Alejandra Jacinto, the podemita candidate for the Community of Madrid, when in November 2022 she tweeted "the change is already here" with a photo of her. The painful results of her formation both in the Assembly and in the City Council - where they have not even managed to enter - reflect a monumental failure.
